My Soft Toys

These are my soft toys... was in the bag that is going to be donated to the Salvation Army... then looking back again, I think I will keep them.

This pig soft toy was given to me by my paternal grandma when I was about 5 years old. She went to Hong Kong and bought this back for me. This is the only gift from her. I have kept it clean, even till now, its fur is only slightly dirty. On the back of the pig is a zip... and when I open it up, there are 6 piglets inside! Haha! Cute right? How could I bear to donate it away??

This is Martin the Martian. I bought this when I was in Universal Studios in Australia in end year 2001. I like this character a lot. I like its peculiar character. Haha. It is so cute... I can't bear to leave it either.

This Miffy was once a character I liked in JC2. Together with this I also bought a set of 4 Miffy phonecards. It's too cute to be abandoned.

This classic Pooh bear is a birthday present from JH, YH, XL and David. It is very nice to hug. And how could you give away your birthday present?

This Piyo-Piyo is a birthday gift from Xinlian, my JC good friend. It can be detached from its "shell". I like this!

This green rabbit is given by Jiawei for my 12th birthday. It's the first soft toy gift from a friend. But I'm donating it. So this is a picture for remembrance.

This is something familiar. No... I'm not one of the crazy people in the Hello Kitty queue. I bought this out of sheer fun. And I didn't queue for it. Haha. No more market value. There it goes. Or should I post on ebay for sale? Anyone wants? I give them free. Just need to provide postage.

Also from McDonalds' is this little toys from Sesame Street. Wanted to collect the whole series, but was a waste of money. And luckily I didn't. Any collectors?

This is a beaver? When pressed in the stomach, it will give those "squeek" sounds. It's given by my cousin Sis. The fur is very nice.

Oreo plush, free, for purchase of 2 bars of Oreos. This was bought for me by TW. He drove his white Nissan to Hall 10 and gave it to me. He even bought a small small packet to bluff me... Haiz... those were the days...

Moodless

Tonight is so boring as sectional practise was cancelled. And I have essays to write and Maths to do. But I just don't feel like doing anything. Not even Maple or Sims 2. Just no mood.

So I decided to wipe my room, tidy up my wardrobe, and arrange my books. I got this shelf from the living room, as my Dad bought a new BIG bookshelf for the encyclopedia that used to collect dust on this shelf. Hence, as usual, "rubbish" always gets into my room. So I decided to make use of this shelf and tidy up a bit on the side of my table that is piling up with books, papers, magazines... etc.

How's this? I filled the first shelf with my music books. Wanted to place this shelf beside my piano, but was strongly objected my Mum. Sigh. It would just be perfect beside my piano with the 1000-piece "girls playing piano" jigsaw hanging on top of the shelf. Of cos' this is not all the piano books I have. No space to put already, so the rest are still inside my cabinet. The lower shelf is not tall enough to put books. So the bear-bear box contains all my stationery. Imagine how much stuff I have. The golden box on top is also filled with stationery. The red tray contains brochures of musicals and concert booklets I've been to. And VCDs - the concurrent one is Doremon and a Hong Kong drama serial (which I've yet to return).

Everything looks neater tonight!

My Music Stand

It's spoilt!! Totally spoilt! At first it was only 1 leg... then now all the 3 legs are detached from the base. How come my music stand is so lousy??!?!?!

My ears are bursting from just now's rehearsal! Those trumpets, trombones, drums and horns! ARGH! Spare my ears! 2 more weeks to concert! Feeling pretty excited about it!

Carey... how are you... how come you didn't talk to me on MSN?! I miss you a lot...

Pokka Lemon Drink

As I was walking down Boon Lay bus interchange today, I was given this free drink. I was feeling so thirsty that I opened it and drink it the moment I got it. It was chilled too!

*Psssshhh*
*Gulped gulped*
*Face scringed*

Aww... it was SOUR! Then I turned to read the label. It read - 1000mg Vitamin C. 1 can is equivalent to 13 lemons!!! AWWW! I just can't stand sour stuff!! 102kcal per can, 0 sugar, fat, carbohydrates. WOW... what a healthy and beneficial drink!! Despite the sourness, I gulped everything down... cos' it contains 1000mg of Vitamin C! Haha! Try it!

Korean Ice Cream - Prefere

Ate this ice cream! Blueberry yogurt flavour! $3.50. Bought it outside Tampines Mall. They are doing a promotion there. The taste is good! Not too sweet, and doesn't melt very fast! And when it melts, it becomes more sticky and chewy! Wahaha!

It comes in 8 flavours, 3 of which are yogurt ice cream. Yummy!

Ipod video

My new electronic toy! Ipod video 30GB. I got the black one.

I thought I got a good deal. But everywhere was selling at $428. Haiz. After playing it for the whole night, I found the software not user friendly. And there are errors when I tried to update ipod's software. Video can only be in mp4 format and the converter sucks. Songs in the playlist are rearranged in disorder when I grouped them into playlist. Photo art is not set-able. ARGH! It's irritating!

Zhong1 Huan2 Restaurant

Ate at this at Zhong1 Huan2 Restaurant (meaning Central Restaurant. A place in Hong Kong) at Taka Basement 2, just outside the entrance to the foodcourt. It cost me $6.50 + Service charge + GST... which amounts up to $6.95. Very pricey!!! And it wasn't as nice as the one I ate at IMM building called Mongkok Eateries at level 3.

At Mongkok Eateries, the noodles had much more elasticity and their milk tea (which Hong Kong people like) are very very nice. The noodles cost $4.50 and milk tea at $2.50, both of which are without service charge and GST.

However, if you are craving for some HK style wanton noodles, you can try Zhong1 Huan2 one. But they do not serve milk tea. Mongkok's one is definitely more worth to eat.

September Holidays

What I did for my September Holidays...
1. Watched Goong (Princess Hours). It's a good show which JH is going GAGA over... Watch it for yourself to judge! There are many touching phrases said by Shin and Chae-Kyung. Chae-Kyung is also very cute in the show... very lively. Their costumes are very pretty, especially the accessories they wear.

This picture below is one of the nice sceneries in the show...

This is my favourite picture below. It was taken so nicely!

2. Watched Spring Waltz. The female lead is only 20 years old and is able to act very well! She's also very pretty. The male lead, though not comparable to Rain in Full House or Joo Ji Hoon in Princess Hours, he has his own charisma that made me like him too. He has sad eyes, so powerful u can get sad just by looking at his eyes. And supporting male lead - Daniel Henney has the tint of Daniel Wu! Simply dashing!

By the way, the OST is simply good! Very soothing to listen to...

3. Met up with Meihui for lunch
4. Tidied my room
