Finally last week was over. It was such a hectic week with 1 assignment and 3 presentations due. Averaged 4 hours of sleep. By Friday last week, I was a zombie. After that, I appreciated Education Psychology more. I don't know why. I guess I have grasped the way of studying all the countless theories. It's bad... cos' now I tend to apply what I've learnt onto people. Who says Psychologist can't mind-read people? I think I can, at least a little. I can use theories to explain why they behave that way. Wonder if this is a good or bad thing.
It takes two hands to clap. I've long given up on him. It seems futile. And this added to tiredness I had last week because I decided to stop thinking of him totally. I will just wish him all the best. Perhaps, I should stop thinking about finding the right one. I have lost faith in guys. It's in me - I can't trust them anymore.
Who is there out there for me? One that listens? One who cares? Sigh. How I wish I'm back in Malaysia. I miss the days in JB. Life would have totally be different. Are you reading?

Full House - A ZA A ZA Fighting!!
I finished watching Korean drama - Full House starring Rain. The drama is not the usual typical slow kind. They talked really fast and it's interesting to watch Korean drama at this speed! Rain is quite a good actor! His facial expressions have a variety. He can display those cute cute boy face, serious mature face, "heart-pain" face, seeking-forgiveness face, angry face, naughty face... so... mesmerized by him. A very nice story, 16 episodes only. I can watch it over again and again! The background music has been changed to "Ming Yun", a song from the show. The midi for the show's theme song isn't well arranged. So here's another favourite song from the show!

stupid chicken rice
I felt cheated. We went to Downtown East foodcourt to have chicken rice. Many people were queueing up at the first door on the left upon entering - Mr Chicken Rice.
We ordered half chicken and 4 rice. The chicken were de-boned. Worst of all, there was no drumstick, and the breast meat was plattered into thin slices and the plate was not even filled. It's so damn obvious there is no half a chicken on the plate. It cost us $12. I hate this kind of hawker. My mum said it will soon close down. Personally, I don't think this is the correct way of making business. Make business with conscience can?
I just can't stand you
Go away get lost! Why do you have to infer what I say? I don't insult people. You earn more bucks than me but always asking me for treats and keep saying you don't have money. What the hell? Do you or have you ever understood what it means to earn peanuts like me? You're a total stingy person and I hate stingy people! When you talk, use some brains. Sad to say, you got no IQ and EQ! Vulgarity and impatience will get you nowhere. Insolent fool, petulant fool! Go get your good results... Get your A's... when you get them, I know you got that by underhand methods. NO, I DON'T RESPECT U AT ALL! SO F**K OFF!

Lessons have all started...
I finished my Grade 8 theory exam on Saturday at Capital Cenre (near City Hall MRT). It was quite a difficult paper. Thought it would be easier. The 3 composition questions were difficult. Purcell's piece was unusually not imitative, the piano piece was quite manageable except for one part, and a violin piece had tricky parts into leading us into compound augmented 9th. Questions 4 and 5 were not easy. I spent a lot of time finding my German 6th, and I still couldn't find it. Must be something wrong with the paper!! Foreign terms were all ok, guessed 2 correctly by deduction. Hehe.
My parents finally came back from Beijing. And guess what my mum bought?
The perfume is supposedly to be more greenish.... not yellow...
Oh yeah! 30ml DKNY Green Apple (Be Delicious). This is my first ever branded perfume in my life!
Then on Sunday, we went Zhong Hao's place for BBQ. A bit disappointing though...
Assignments are never-ending!!! God help me!

Journey 2006 - A SUCCESS!
It finally came to our concert day. It was held at Raffles Hotel, Jubilee Hall. My day started out with 830am lessons, and I was like damn tired due to disturbed sleep for two consecutive nights. My room mate's friend came over and talked till like 4-5am, and worse of all, they were walking in and out of the room. Then the second night, the friend came over again! 2am plus and still talking... I was so tired, I fell asleep and didn't know what time she left. I was sure someone SLEPT on my bed for the past 2 weeks when I wasn't in hall. Cos' her friend slept-over. SIGH! WHY!? SUCH INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE!
Back to the story, I was like half-sleeping through my lessons today. And another half was thinking about the concert in the night. The terrible grueling lessons were finally over at 530pm. I went to change into my blacks, and SMRT soon called me to tell me the cab number that I advance-booked an earlier day. 4554 was the number. I was thinking: WOW! Such a nice number? Will I get a Mercedes?
I went to the NIE lobby to wait for the cab. 540pm... still not yet arrived. Soon later, I saw a white cab turning in... WHITE! What are you thinking? It's a Merz LOH! WAH SEH! Feel like VIP! Left for Raffles Hotel, AYE was so jam, I reached at 620pm. Just in time for a group photo! (In the end, only took 1 group photo) Then went to look for my violin... gave me a scare cos' I can't find it anywhere! In the end, it was behind the stage behind the thick backdrop. Phew.
Then S came (my IA Sup). "Hey Jessica! Thank you! Do I really don't need to pay you?"
WHAT? WHEN DID I SAY IT WAS FREE? "Erm, no problem!" Why was I so shy to get money from him?! Totally shocked upon hearing him say that.
After settling all the tickets and stuff, I warmed up my fingers. Ran through parts of the scores that contains fast notes and high notes cos I missed the rehearsal in the afternoon. Then took photos with ZH, soloist and some others. ZH looked tensed and stressed. When I asked him what happened, he replied, "Nothing la, my shoulder is pain." Think he just trying to bluff me.
It was about 8pm before we started. Only about 60-70% of the seats were filled. Our first song was Overture to Marriage of Figaro. I think it was really well-played. Followed by Violin Concerto No. 5. There were many tempo changes which we never did during rehearsals. But luckily, we managed to survived though I think the third movement was not well-played. Then it was intermission. After intermission, it was Symphony No. 40. I reached the high notes unknowingly. I used to freak out for performances. But it was a wonder that I was enjoying myself throughout the performance. Probably I was relaxed and all the notes just came out. Hehe. There was no Encore though one person shouted "Encore!". It was pretty sad that many players left very quickly after the concert ended. I thought we could have more group photos. Sigh! Months of gruesome practises and rehearsals all ended in one and a half hour show. Mixed feelings. Don't know to feel happy or sad. Happy because it was such a good performance and we will rise to greater heights next year. And sad because I know the whole orchestra won't the same again - players will change and performance pieces will never be played again. Furthermore, I don't even know if I will have the chance to perform next year. I'll be teaching this time next year. With loads of work, I'm really afraid I can't commit.
The audience left quite quickly too. Wang De Yuan was there too. He happened to be a good friend of my desk partner. He's still as dashing. Haha. We went to Breko Cafe after packing up. Sat there till like 330am? And woke up like 1pm?!!? I was guilty cos' I promised to have KFC lunch with my brothers. Sigh. They might have hated me now.
I will miss Saturday's and Monday practises.

A Day that finally came...
It was a day that I have long-awaited! I finally took a picture with Hacken Lee!!! My long time idol! No.... this is not a fake picture!! It's REAL!
I got no idea why the uploaded picture here looks so bad!
The fan club met at Outram Park MRT. Then we walked over to Teo Hong Road. They were there filming their "Zuo Ling You Li" movie. My heart was so excited and thumping so fast that I was standing under the tree stoning. I even forgot about my camera and silver marker and CD. When he walked out, the rest started to click on their cameras, then I quickly opened my bag and action! So exciting! HAHA! I took a photo with him and he put his hand behind my shoulder. *hehehe* He is very thin, very small-built. It would be perfect if he has a better built. Then he autographed with MY silver marker on MY CD! *grin, muz keep the marker!!* Though it was only a brief 15 minutes meeting with us, it already fulfilled my wishes... that is to have a personal photograph with him. He'll be coming on 8th June again for promo! WAH! Hope I can get to see him again!!
We gave him food like satay, bird nest and chao kuay teow... And asked what he'll be having for dinner... He said, "Kai Fan!" (Chicken rice) HAHA! We all laughed! Cos he really love the Man Tong Kee chicken rice in Singapore!

Sweetest Dream
It was such a wonderful dream last night. It was a clear night, and the surroundings looked like Istana Park except there was more people walking around. Somehow, I didn't have money to pay the taxi driver to send my dead boyfriend to hospital. And I don't know why was he dead in the swimming pool in the park! And the driver waited by the roadside for me to get money to pay him. I was lost, sad, and gan chiong cos' the taxi driver didn't want to move unless I pay him! After approaching some passerby, there was finally a willing guy who was kind enough to help me pay the driver. He was tall, well-built, well-dressed and handsome! Just the kind of perfect guy every girl dreams of! Then he piggy-back me back to his home. I cried sadly over his broad shoulders. He was so kind and I thought he liked me.
We reached his condo... there was a gift shop upon stepping into his condo area. There was this smiley face red plushy that I can change its facial expressions just like plasticine, except this is a plushy. I hinted to him I wanted this to cheer me up. He didn't want to buy, and ran home! He ran pretty fast!
I didn't know which unit he stayed so I sat outside the shop didn't know where to go next. Then I don't know why I met his sister and she brought me up to their home. The next day I woke up, he came into the room and was surprised to find me inside. He didn't sleep the whole night because he felt guilty leaving me at the shop. He apologised and gave me a super big black and white doggie soft-toy which was like almost the same size as me! I was touched. Then he gave me his name card. His name was Paul and works in a jewellery shop. His dad is the shop owner. Feeling really touched, but yet it was time to go home, I said good bye to him. He was sad to see me leave too. After saying the good bye, I woke up. -_-
Well, dreams are always this wierd. I wonder if there's a hidden meaning behind this dream. What a nice guy! And I met him in my dreams... *duh*

House Warming
Went to Savannah Park yesterday for Zhong Hao's housewarming. I walked from my house, and took me 35 minutes! I didn't realise it was so far away! His house was small, a typical condo size, 3 room one. The kitchen is small, bedrooms are small, and living room small! But enough for a couple, not for a family. Plus the walking distance to Simei MRT is far! And no public transport to the MRT. SO inaccessible without a car!
I was really glad he liked the gifts we got for him. I shopped from 1-5pm for his presents on Friday. After school on Friday, I went down to Taka departmental store. Got a card there. And found no gifts appropriate. Then went down to City Link and Suntec to look. After spending a lot of time there, I got a Galileo Galilie thermometer from Ig's Heaven. It works with special liquid inside, and glass bubble-balls which will sink or float according to the surrounding temperature. But I don't know what is the mechanism behind it, and what kind of special liquid it uses. It's very interesting and uniquely-designed! There was a very nice pig clock, but after consulting some friends, a clock was not very appropriate afterall. And there was this shop in Suntec where I wanted to get a set of china, the salesperson was so bad! First time I walked into the shop, she was on the phone chatting over some drama serials. I went for late lunch, and went back to the shop. The girl was sitting behind the counter. She obviously didn't care about anyone who walked into the shop. What a bad attitude!
Then I went to TM to look for other gifts since my budget was about $100. Another 2 hours there choosing over crystal-wares, glass vases, wine glasses, wine racks, glass containers, electrical hot flasks, coffee set, tea set....etc. It was such a headache. In the end, I got him a coffee set, cos I think I remembered he likes drinking coffee. Overall spent for his presents were $107. Luckily ZH liked them. What a relieve! My efforts paid off! His wife likes Hacken too! Wahaha!!
I went home, very very tired. That night still went for SSO's Mozart concert at VCH. They played really well, just like a CD record playing! Very good ensemble-ship!

HAPPY CNY 2006!!!
It's CNY again!! This year didn't have my prawn crackers, nor mamee, nor packet crysanthenum tea!!! But ate a lot of nasi lemak, and tried the curry mee there! Red packets are as usual in RM$. Had a really nice CNY this year because CNY falls on a Sunday!! It's the first time me and my cousins meet up for so long! Besides this, I even had my hands on 3-legged majong under the tutelage of my paternal grandma! I think it's even more fun than 4-legged majong! Coming back to Singapore was a problem. We came back on the night 2 days before school started but there was still jam at the Woodlands checkpoint! It was SUCH a long queue, my Dad reversed and drove the wrong-way out to the main road to avoid the jam. We then proceeded to Tuas checkpoint. But we missed the exit along N-S expressway and ended up near Senai. It was another half hour back to the exit. It was quite good at the Malaysia customs, but once over it, it started to jam way before the halfway point of the causeway. We departed from Renggam at 10pm, and reached home at 130am!!!
Finally got my hands on Photoshop, and learnt something. Though it's not related to what I'm going to handup for ICT module, the knowledge is needed. So how's the photo gif on the left column? Hehe! Of cos, besides this, I did more. Now, I'm clueless about what to do for my assignment. It has got to be related to what I'm going to teach in the future. Ideas anyone?
